Needless to say, not only getting to witness a long seduction of a good person to the dark side is not only refreshing to see logically played out in star wars, but getting to instigate it is a huge testament to the astonishing quality of writing in KOTOR 2.Īdditonally, the subtle differences in Atton's transition to the force between light and dark is really stunning as well.
This eventually creates a hilarious twist where Bao-dur blabbers about how much he loves me, little realizing he's essentially turning into darth maul. Essentially it involves being super nice and friendly and loving when Bao-dur is in the party, so that he loves me and his influence keeps soaring but when he's not around I kill anyone I see and maintain total dark side supremacy. I was recently playing my first DS run and on a lark I decided to try to 'seduce' him to the dark side (to reference how Obi Wan first described Vader's fall). I don't hate Bao-dur, but in an amazing cast of characters he kind of sucks.
